Alen:
“I didn’t just focus on grades, I also volunteered and was part of the school leadership team. These experiences showed my commitment to leadership and positive influence. When I applied to universities, I talked about these experiences in supplemental applications to show I could bring something special to their campuses.
When facing difficulties, I find motivation by reminding myself of my long-term goals and the reasons why I chose my path. Also, seeking support from friends, family, or school staff can give you valuable advice and encouragement to overcome challenges.
To future students, I suggest taking care of yourself and finding a good balance between school and personal life. Don’t forget to relax, do things you enjoy, and spend more time with your family and friends. Ask for help when you need it, and remember that challenges can help you learn and improve.
Face the future with positivity and strength, knowing that every moment can contribute to your personal and academic growth in a unique way.
I want to thank Ms. Cathy and Ms. Jean for their assistance with my university applications, and my family and friends for their constant support!”
