Our Student Development (SD) Department is challenging one another to an exciting and fun Relay for Life event in coordination with the Canadian Cancer Society. This past week, Columbia’s Character Team was working hard to inspire and motivate their peers during the school’s annual Character Week. Each day highlighted a different character trait and students were invited to participate in activities related to the day’s theme. Columbia International College’s Guidance Department is preparing students for their upcoming winter semester by holding course confirmation information sessions throughout October and the first week of November. Guidance Counsellors will visit each homeroom class between October 27th to 29th to ensure students have the opportunity to ask questions about courses and verify prerequisites for university programs. A former Columbia International College student is making a name for himself by becoming a multifaceted entrepreneur and author. Sultan Moni, a 2014 graduate from the United Arab Emirates, recently released his debut novel Let the Heart Beat. The young adult fiction novel is about overcoming adversity.
