This morning, Columbia International College students were warned of the dangers of impaired driving as they attended a special Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) assembly. March break is a welcomed winter vacation for many students the country, allowing them to rest and regroup before they begin to prepare for the end of the term. Columbia International College is expanding its student Academic Support Program in residence. The Study Buddy Program is a peer academic support service designed by our Guidance Department. It is composed of a team of dedicated Columbia students who have a strong academic background and are enthusiastic about helping their peers. (more…)

Last week, Columbia International College had the pleasure of welcoming Chef Claudia Alvarado as part of Sodexo’s Global Chef Program! Chef Alvarado brought the flavours of her native country Peru to Columbia where she recreated authentic Peruvian cuisine in the school’s two main cafeterias. A number of Columbia International College’s top academic achievers were recognized this week for their exceptional performance in two elite Canadian math contests last semester. Students who wrote the Canadian Senior Math Contest from the University of Waterloo, and the Canadian Open Math Challenge from Sun Life Financial in partnership with University of Toronto, and who scored in the top 25% of all participants…
