Columbia’s English department will be holding additional literacy workshops this week to ensure that students are well-prepared for the upcoming OSSLT on March 26. Starting today, students wishing to practice their skills can attend one of the many added workshops. Seats will be on a first-come, first-served basis. As part of the English Department’s Guest Author Series, Dr. Lam will speak to students currently enrolled in Writer’s Craft and ENG4U courses. Recently, members from the Ontario Lung Association’s Youth Advocacy Training Institute were invited to Columbia to educate students on the tobacco industry.
