Columbia International College is preparing to welcome hundreds of new students next week when the 2015 winter semester begins. Ushering in a new year and a new semester is always very exciting for students who look forward to new beginnings and meeting new people. To ensure that students are prepared for the new semester, Columbia will be holding full-day registration and orientation sessions on January 5 and 6.
Student registration and orientation reminders
Students are reminded to bring the following documents to orientation;
• Passport
• Student Visa
• Letter of acceptance from Columbia
• Most recent school records
Registration and orientation will take place on Monday, January 5 and Tuesday, January 6, 2015 in the Ainsliewood gym. Both sessions will be from 8am-5pm and will include a welcome assembly, testing and residence activities.
Parent orientation
Parents of new students are also invited to attend an orientation session onMonday, January 5, 2015. They will have the opportunity to meet with various staff members and learn about everything from academics to residence to meal services. Orientation for parents will take place in the Ainsliewood building from 8am to 5pm.

Students are reminded that the first day of classes is Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Classes begin at 8:45 a.m.
