Keynote Speech and banner presentation by Lisa Armstrong, National Manager of School Runs at the Terry Fox Foundation.
As one of only six schools worldwide that have participated in the Terry Fox Run for 40 years, CIC upholds Terry’s ideals and values in working to achieve his vision – a world without cancer. We have raised $224,000 over the past four decades.
For many of our students, Terry Fox Run is their first event where they encounter the spirit of service that embodies much of the extra-curricular culture here at CIC.
In a surprise Thank-You video, Fred Fox, Terry’s brother, expressed appreciation for CIC students’ ongoing contributions, raising money and awareness for cancer research.
Valedictorian Cathy Wu and graduating service prefects present a cheque for $3155.13 to the Terry Fox Foundation.

Presentation of certificates of completion to exchange students from Mexico.
Recognition of graduates who have received scholarships from the Columbia International Scholarship Endowment Fund.

Cathy has made the most of her time at CIC, obtaining an outstanding academic record, while dedicating an incredible amount of time towards helping out her adopted community. This drive to succeed will prove to lead Cathy to extraordinary success in her future.

Speech by CIC Founder, Mr. Clement Chan.
He thanks the Total Care teams for going above and beyond to support the students during the Pandemic, and feels fully confident that CIC is to continue to foster student success and deliver peace of mind for parents in 2023.
Parent testimonial:
CIC promised me Total Care for my daughter and they delivered at every point she had a need. Thank you Ms. Priscilla and the amazing team at CIC for make it easy for me while Marjorie was so far from home. If I had another child, it would have been CIC!
Dear graduates, you will begin post-secondary studies in Canada, the US, the UK or around the world. Although we may all be separated geographically by distance, always keep your CIC family close to your heart.
