Course Fair booths in LoungeColumbia showcased its diversity in programming to current students as it held this semester’s Course Fair. Throughout the week, different departments set up information booths in the Marketplace to discuss their respective courses with students. Members of the Math, Science, English, Social Science/Arts, and Business Departments participated in the Fair. Course books, sample projects and tests, and course outlines were among the items displayed to give students a general overview of their program of interest.

The Social Sciences and Arts department also tried something new this year and used the augmented reality app Aurasma to engage students, giving them a better overview of courses and subjects.

Along with gaining a better understanding of the courses offered at Columbia, students learned more about university prerequisites, and had the opportunity to meet members of the teaching staff.
