Last week, Columbia International College had the pleasure of welcoming Chef Claudia Alvarado as part of Sodexo’s Global Chef Program!
Chef Alvarado brought the flavours of her native country Peru to Columbia where she recreated authentic Peruvian cuisine in the school’s two main cafeterias. Students and staff not only dined on traditional dishes but also spoke with Chef Alvarado and learned about Peruvian culture.

The Global Chef Program
Sodexo introduced the Global Chef Program in 2003 to provide its clients with fresh and unique experiences to meet the needs of multicultural communities. Chefs that participate in the Program share authentic international cuisine and traditional cooking techniques with clients, customers, and the host institution’s on-site culinary team.
